I really struggled to get out of bed this morning. I did have big plans for my runs this week, targeting a 25mile total but I now feel I may fall a little short.
I had wanted to do 7 mile loop of Alton Water but when I got there, I realised it was £3 to park my car. Now you can call me a tight arse if you want, but I felt that was a bit too much to pay just to run around the reservoir. Especially as I was on my own too.
The run: After the hour spent in the car driving around Ipswich, looking for somewhere to run, I ended up at Orwell Park. I parked my car at Gainsborough Sports centre and jogged out from there. My legs took a good mile to get into the spirit of the run. I knew pretty early on that it wasn't going to be the 7 that I had planned. The new plan? get to 3 miles and see where you end up. Turns out after 3.8 miles I was back at the car.
Lots of stops to take in the scenery and snap some photos which you can see below. Maybe I'll do better tomorrow.

I'm a runner, cyclist and lazy bones. Tapering since 2011. I race for fun, but rarely train. I'll pause to take a great selfie before I get that PB. Life's too short to run fast!
