Thought I'd share a funny little story. Keeping it short.
I went for a run with my wife the other day. Or rather, she dragged me out with her! As we got to the half way turn around point, I spotted at little antiques/tea room that I had visited recently with the kids. I said to the wife "That's the place I took the kids the other week. Come in and take a look. They've got some lovely stuff!" Needless to say, she came in. We got talking to an nice old chap in there, and on discovering that I was a chef. He asked if I knew his daughter. This is a question that instills fear in to me at the best of times, let alone when i'm out with my wife. My past does not feature highly in my proudest days.
Turns out his daughter was my ex girlfriend from college. I had not met him. I did get "the look" from the wife, which I casually deflected. I was polite to the chap and moved on.
But as awkward moments go, that was up there.
*****I just wanted to add that I have heavily edited this post's content. It was getting a little odd. Lots of memories which I don't really need to share...right now*****
Have you ever had an awkward run-in while running? Comment below...or don't

I'm a runner, cyclist and lazy bones. Tapering since 2011. I race for fun, but rarely train. I'll pause to take a great selfie before I get that PB. Life's too short to run fast!
